Cookie Policy
Version 1.0 · Updated 19 October 2026 · Effective 16 October 2026
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Forward AI Labs, Inc. (“MiraDay”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on miraday.ai and the MiraDay web application. Our Privacy Policy explains the associated processing of personal data, our contact details, your rights and international transfers.
This policy addresses storage of, and access to, information on your device. It does not authorize the collection or contribution of candidate profiles to F2D (Fast to Data), MiraDay’s recruiting data infrastructure bringing together professional profiles, company information and job information. Personal Data in those activities is addressed in the Personal Information Notice. Browser extension capture and connected-account content are addressed separately in the Privacy Policy, Sections 2.4 and 2.6–2.7; accepting cookies does not authorize those activities or model training.
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. A session cookie normally lasts for a browser session; a persistent cookie lasts until its expiry or earlier deletion. Similar technologies can include local storage, session storage, pixels, web beacons and scripts that store or access device information. These rules concern the technology’s actual operation and purpose, whether it is supplied by us or a third party, and whether or not the information identifies you.
Information processed through these technologies may include device or browser identifiers, IP address, browser and device information, pages or features used, referring pages, timestamps and consent preferences. Section 4 explains our consent-management technology; Cookie Settings provides the current details for other services.
3. Purposes and consent
We distinguish technologies needed for a service you request from optional technologies. Where applicable law requires consent, we obtain it before activating the relevant technology. We do not treat continued browsing, silence or acceptance of the Terms of Service as cookie consent. A consent exemption requires an assessment of the actual purpose and the legal conditions that apply; an “essential”, “functional” or “first-party” label does not establish an exemption by itself.
Strictly necessary technologies may support authentication, session security, abuse prevention or remembering your privacy choices. We use a technology without consent only where the applicable exemption is satisfied. Preferences and functionality may remember requested settings; optional personalization requires consent where applicable. Analytics and performance may help understand use and diagnose problems; consent is required unless a specifically assessed legal exemption applies with all its conditions and any required objection mechanism. Advertising and targeting, if deployed, require separate disclosure of the actual providers, tracking purposes and applicable choices; they are not enabled merely because this policy describes the category.
4. Technologies and service details
Usercentrics consent management. We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform (CMP) to display privacy choices and record whether you accept or reject optional services. Its script uses browser local storage for consent choices and related CMP settings, such as a consent identifier, the time of a choice and the applicable settings version. Our current configuration also enables cross-domain consent sharing: a Usercentrics iframe may use browser local storage to carry your choice between participating MiraDay subdomains. We use this storage to remember and honor your privacy choices. Browser local storage does not have a built-in expiry; it remains until it is cleared or replaced by the browser or CMP. You can update your choices through Cookie Settings and clear local storage in your browser.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand use of our website and web application and measure performance. It is subject to the consent controls described in Sections 3 and 5. Cookie Settings provides current information about its purposes, cookies or other device storage, duration and available choices; provider details, including processing role and location, may be requested from privacy@miraday.ai.
Other services. For other current services managed by the CMP, open Cookie Settings to see their purposes, the cookies or other device storage associated with them, and the available choices. Further provider details, including processing roles and locations, may be requested from privacy@miraday.ai. A service’s inclusion in the CMP does not mean you have consented to it or that it is active on every page.
Device-storage duration and retention of information already sent to a server are different. Expiry or deletion of browser storage does not automatically delete server-side records. Relevant personal-data retention is also addressed in the Privacy Policy, Section 7.
5. Your choices
Where we request consent, our consent controls allow you to accept optional technologies, reject them or select available categories. Technologies requiring consent remain inactive until you choose them. Rejection must be as easy as acceptance, optional categories are not preselected, and you may use the service without consenting to unrelated optional tracking. Declining a genuinely optional feature may affect that feature, as explained when you choose it.
You can change or withdraw consent through Cookie Settings. Withdrawal is as easy as giving consent and stops future consent-based use of the affected technologies. We remove or disable relevant technologies where technically within our control and communicate withdrawal to providers relying on that consent where required. Withdrawal does not affect lawful processing before withdrawal; requests to delete associated personal data are handled under the Privacy Policy, Section 5.
Your browser also offers controls to delete or block cookies and, where supported, other stored information. Browser controls are additional options and do not replace our consent controls. Deleting a preference cookie or using another browser or device may mean we ask for your choices again. Blocking technologies necessary for authentication or security may prevent the relevant function from working.
6. Providers and international transfers
Details of providers other than Usercentrics involved in our use of cookies and similar technologies, including their functions, data-processing roles, relevant recipients and processing locations, may be requested from privacy@miraday.ai. Section 4 explains Usercentrics consent management and directs you to Cookie Settings for current service and storage details. Your choices are described in Section 5 and Cookie Settings. The Privacy Policy, Sections 4 and 9, explains sharing and international safeguards. Hosting in one country does not mean every provider or remote access is in that country. For transfers subject to EU or UK data protection law, we use applicable adequacy decisions or appropriate contractual safeguards, with assessments and additional measures where required. You can ask privacy@miraday.ai for details or a copy of applicable safeguards, subject to permitted redactions.
7. Changes to this policy
We update this policy and the technology inventory when our practices change. Where a change requires fresh consent, we obtain it before using the technology for the new purpose. The dates above identify the applicable version; the Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy may have separate version numbers, while their descriptions must remain consistent.
8. Contact and related documents
For cookie questions or requests concerning personal data, contact privacy@miraday.ai or use the Privacy Center. Personal-data requests are reviewed case by case after proportionate identity verification where needed; the Privacy Center does not provide instant access to profile fields. Website cookie preferences are managed through the controls in Section 5. Our company address and privacy contact information is set out in the Privacy Policy, Section 11.
